Remember the comments after Black Hawk Down came out? Several commented that our troops were almost all white and implied underlying racism. Now that a war with Iraq is upcoming, they're complaining that there are too many blacks in the Army infantry (which is, apparently, not true).

Given that this is NOT a scientific survey...
I've been surprised by the television and newspaper photos of troops in Afghanistan.
Just based on what I've seen, it sure looks like the percentage of obvious
"minority" troops is less than 30%.
