The dock "lockout" is a deliberate strategy cooked up between the unions and the national democrats to kill the economy just before the election. This will dominate the news in a couple of weeks.
They better hope not. Most Americans despise labor unions, and the unions are clearly the culprit here, since many of these longshoremen make $80,000 a year.

Do you think they should make less while the foreign shipping companies who dominate the docks make more? Do you think the foreign shipping companies will share their huge profits with America? I don't think so. They would hire slave labor if they could.

Yes, but...
The particular jobs in question "clerks" who run the (out-of-date) computer-tracking systems are paying $100,000 to $120,000. (per radio news today).
