The ease of posting and using html tags,
maintaining the Find in Forum feature,
having threads that can reach over 2,000 posts and still load with time to spare for extra comments,
the ability to show comments brief *or* full,
to check the News or Interest pages with remarks *or* headlines,
not having to close fonts at the end of the post hooray, hooray, hooray...
*I* remember the horror of the old way! ("Close your d@mn tags!") LOL
