What has happened to our image as a beacon of freedom, opportunity and the right way to live?

Damn I thought we were being over ran with people from other countries.... Hell hop yourself over to the Immigration threads and you'll find that they are saying people are swarming here by the millions, illegal and legal. Now I don't know why for sure but I suspect it's for freedom to live a better life..... So I'm not sure why you think that people don't want to come to the U S of A.
