The Senate Democrats will not pass the President's Homeland Defense Bill, they give tepid support to the President's War on Terror, they will not pass a budget, will not make tax relief permanent and stubbornly refuse to confirm the President's judicial nominees.

The country's business is at a standstill for one reason--The Democrats control the Senate.
Hillary Clinton and Tom Daschle want this administration to fail, even if it means losing the war on terror (remember the sour expressions and eyerolling by Hillary during the President's speech to congress right after 911?).
