I think this is a mistake. I think the Pubbies should stay out out of it. Call me nuts, but I think the voters are prepared to deal with this on their own.

It would be nice if the general populace were educated enough to understand what the RATS are doing, I'm too cynical though to think that is the case.

I agree--but there may be enough people who were gonna' stay home rather than vote for a crook like Toricelli, who will now come out and vote for 'the other guy' just 'cause he's a Dem...probably could get a closer race, at least close enough to cover with a little "voter fraud"

Nick, I don't think you're nuts. I agree completely. If we take to the courts too quickly, it will allow the demonrats to go on the offensive. And of course the press will help them spin it.
Right now in NJ, without our help, they keep shooting themselves in the foot. I'd like to let it play out a little longer, too.

I disagree with you. For heavens sake we can't let a law like that stand. It will be used as a precedent any time a RAT wants to pull this again.

I do not agree with those who advocate a purely politcal strategy of letting this stand lest the republicans be cast in a negative light as in the Florida case.
In my way of thinking letting this travesty of a decision stand is harmful to the country, as dems in other states will observe and act accordingly in the future.
This kind of maneuver must be squelched. Period. As often as the dems try it they must be slapped down and forced to abide by the laws and rules.

That's not the point. The Rats screw qith the LAW to suit their purposes. They're crooks!

....then again????
Let talk radio and FOX spoon feed the masses. Who knows, maybe(even with public education being what it is)the sheeple will be able to smell the corruption all by themselves and see the rats for who they really are.

I think this is a mistake. I think the Pubbies should stay out out of it. Call me nuts, but I think the voters are prepared to deal with this on their own.Judging from the totally unfreeped WNBC poll that showed EIGHTY-FIVE PERCENT of respondents saying nobody should be allowed to replace Torricelli. That's an unbelievably overwhelming number. I think Forrester could very well end up getting something like 65-70% of the vote on November 5 because of this. But we still need to fight like hell to make sure this sort of sleaze doesn't become established precedent.
