What game are you playing?
To: Diddle E. Squat
Another round of wind and rain. :-(
To: glorygirl
spades. They are playing as I "report" to my freeper friends. Free.
To: The Cajun
Let's hope it diminshes somewhat. There's another blink.
To: Uncle Sham
It should start to strenghen as soon as the sun comes up. What time are they expecting it to hit?
To: Uncle Sham
someone is talking on the radio (call-in) about passing up others just driving around taking in the sights. Crazies.
To: Uncle Sham
where did the eye of Andrew hit and how bad was the damage and how storng was it..125 if I recall..looks like another band,,then a short break then the core..I hate to say it it looks like the eye will pass right over or just west of you..
eye is now due south of Jeanerette..moving NNW
To: LurkerNoMore!
LOL, thanks for thinking of us! It's 3:13 and Willy and I are checking the latest position now. ;-) I'm told it hardly ever even thunders in Alaska (but they do get 6' of snow).
To: Uncle Sham
3:00 AM report out of New Orleans (channel -8- Fox) said the storm is now moving north west instead of north-north west. They put it going in a little west of New Iberia.
To: expatguy
Around 9:00am, radio is reporting potential landfall just west of New Iberia near Marsh Island. Tornados have been reported as well. As well as damage from them.
To: FireTrack
:-) Im orignally from Houston but live in Malaysia
With Live internet radio from New Orleans, Live Doppler Radar, CNN on the TV and all you freepers it is like I never left.
To: The Cajun
Better for you. Worse for me.
To: Uncle Sham
If my reports end due to power outage, please continue to inform our freeper friends.
To: expatguy
Where is the New Orleans radio link?
To: Uncle Sham
So are you expecting the power to go out soon?
To: kinghorse
If you wait til they say "oops", your screwed and will end up stranded on the causeway bridge or some overpass sharing a personal moment with snakes, spiders and all sorts of other verminGood god....I had to take my mother to the airport last time this hurricane came a week ago and nearly got BLOWN off the bridge. I hope snakes dont find a way to get onto the causeway span! The horror!

To: expatguy
There have been some very intense rain bands passing through and our lights have blinked several times. We are still here though, freepin' away. :-)
To: The Cajun; Uncle Sham
"3:00 AM report out of New Orleans (channel -8- Fox) said the storm is now moving north west?" Unless this thing starts moving straight north pretty soon, it may go a lot west of New Iberia. NOT good...
To: The Cajun
yep..as I said several hundred posts ago..I think it will go west of New Iberia...maybe in the abbeville area or even west of there unless it goes 360 soon..this may be great because the area between Layfeyette abd lake charles is not that populated
