If George Bush held a press conference today and announced that the United States wanted completely out of the UN...I wonder what would happen?

All Americans should really, immediately, stop voting for any candidates who support the U.N.

It was in December 1998, that UN arms chief Richard Butler decided to pull weapons inspectors out of Iraq in advance of Operation Desert Fox.

Now wait a minute ! Who is telling lies here ? All I have been hearing all the time, is that they were kicked out by Saddam. Even Rumsfeld. Can anyone answer this question ? I'm asking this question in all sincerity.

I don't support going ahead with the inspection without a new UN resolution. If the inspection goes ahead without the resolution and the inspectors can't do their job, then once we've ousted Saddum, then oust the UN from US soil, and withdraw from that sham of an organization. We could do more for the rest of the world by ourselves, by cutting out that expensive middle man of an organization.

Napoleon was Corsican (born Napoleone di Buonaparte). So scratch that one. It's been a long, dry stretch pour nos amies grenouilles.

Another problem with the inspectors being in-country, is that they'll provide an unintentional(?) early-warning of an attack. Seeing the inspectors heading for exits or the nearest hole in the ground is a good clue something ugly is about to happen.

Well are we going to Bomb the inspectors?

I suppose it depends on how good the inspectors are at their work.

"The group will convene at the UN staging base in Bahrain on October 17"

Suppose this means we'll hit Iraq on the 15th?
