My kid in NJ said that the Dems she knows aren't all that enthused by Lautenberg. He's kind of "blah," accord to what they told her. Even if he gets on the ballot, he could still lose.

I do not think Lautenberg can win. I'm from CT which is even more liberal than NJ and people from both states lost quite a few loved ones on 9/11. Old-time, dove liberals like Lautenberg just won't fly high anymore.

How is this going to play with the Torch's voters? Will they stay at home? It is a good bet Torch won't stump for Laughenberg.

Then her DEM friends are now disenfranchised. The Dems chose Torch in the primary, not Lautenberg. Therefore, those who voted for Torch and don't like Lautenberg, now are disenfranchised.
