DNC lawyer is getting HAMMERED ...

Is DNC lawyer being hammered by one justice, or several justices?

I hope you are right, but doesn't it always look that way? The judges ask the tough questions which gives the lawyer a chance to present their argument. Example: Judge says, Why should we let you override the law, which clearly states the deadline? Lawyer says Because we really really want to. Judge says to self, Hmmm, I agree. Looks like the lawyer got hammered, but he didn't.

DNC lawyer is getting HAMMERED ...Don't read too much into that. Supreme Court justices routinely play devil's advocate and severely challenge the lawyers on both sides. It doesn't necessarily have any bearing on how they eventually rule.

Don't be misled. Justices frequently pound the side they are deciding with for good sportsmanship purposes.

DNC lawyer is getting HAMMERED ...It's his answers, not the questions, that determine the effectiveness. gore's original SC lawyer, Tribe, did an absolutely horrid job at the first SC orals, but not because any of the questions were too tough. All of them, for the most part, I expected.
