It does? Good Lord---you're kidding me. All along I thought the 20th century pre-dated the 18th. Imagine my surprise . . .

I've said all along the issue was what constitutes interstate commerce, but now that you've pointed out that the Commerce Clause predates the New Deal, I can easily see how you're a Master of the Obvious, Southern California-style.
