Why do you worry? In 25 years what do you think people will remember, LoTR or whatever that film is that won an Oscar? Doubt it? Ok, what won Best Actress in 1977? What won Best Picture in 1977? Who remembers those instead of Star Wars? Good point. LOTR will be treasured forever, and the others forgotten.

Well you won't hear about the Paths of the Dead until the Return of the King, in any event.
That's where it belongs.

Are you speaking of the 8 min trailer? If so, do you have a link for it?
Thanks.

Wow. PJ's adaptation of Tolkien is relevant: I hope Dubya has read LotR. I'm sure he could glean a lot of wisdom and inspiration from it. Maybe the Hobbits should send him a copy. Even if he has read it, he can read it again.

Nope, Dick Cheney is Gandalf.
But you are right, Dubya is Aragorn.

ROTK is indeed where Aragorn summons the Dead at the Stone of Erech, but Galadriel's message to Aragorn is delivered by Gandalf the White in TTT (
To Aragorn I was bidden to say this:.....
I was disappointed that LOTR left out so much of the Fellowship's stay at Lothlorien, especially the gifts. Glad to hear that the scene is on the new DVD.

Wow .......... I am absolutely salivating. Until it's released, I'll have to comfort myself by replaying the first video.
Has anyone noticed that Legolas' quiver is always full, no matter how many arrows he shoots?
