How to disable graphics images so a page loads more quickly
- dialup users THIS WILL HELP!

First, if you use Internet Explorer, go to the menu bar (should be the top of the browser). Click on "View". From its sub-menu, choose "Options".

From the Options dialog box, select the "General" folder tab at the top of the box. In the multimedia section you can select whether or not Internet Explorer loads an image, sound file, or movie. If you want a type of file to be automatically loaded, place a check mark in the appropriate box. If you want the images disabled, click to remove the check. Now whenever Internet Explorer loads a document that has images, a small icon will appear where each image is located on the page. If you wish to view the image at that location, right-click on the image area and then select "View Image" from the menu.

No more slow loads if you do this!

Netscape users:

Just like above, but click on EDIT, then choose the Preferences sub-menu.

Depending on which Netscape you have, there may be one or two more steps.

If you see an option called "Automatically load images and other data types", uncheck it.

Otherwise, click on the "Images" category, then check the "Do Not Load Any Images" option.

Then click OK.
