I don't know for sure about JediGirl. Her ban may be permanent.

I know of members who have had their account temporaraily suspended, and linking to their homepage said as such, with the # of days that the account would be disabled......
Sidious and JG's situation looks to be far more serious than simply a 'vacation'.
