Way to go, Girl! You said everything so eloquently, and you know I am one of your biggest fans.
I found the link to FreeRepublic during the infamous 2000 Presidential election. What a Godsend! Rush and my buddies at FR kept me sane, gave me the place to vent, and kept those positive thoughts coming through. It is now the place to go for wonderful information, as well as continual support.
To all of you great people out there in Freeper Land, you are still the best. Freepers are courageous conservatives trying to buck the tide of pervasive socialism.
Keep up the great work.

Oh don't run away from the question. Do you believe in the supremacy of the "community" or of the individual? It is a simple question. Don't run away from it. Confront it. Let us know where your sympathies truly lie If that community is a Libertarian community of pot heads and others who celebrate the drug culture, then count me out.
Let us know where your sympathies lies.
I am guessing it is with the drug culture.

My opinion of Jim Robertson declined, to say the least. He is a small man. Allow me to enter the rear of this train; I read all posts top to bottom, and respond when something pricks me, or in this case when a prick pricks me.
Many is the time I have bitten my tongue while reading your drivel, but for you to call JimRob a "small man" is like a flea thinking he is refereeing a dogfight.
It would be so much more pleasant if you were to think before you speak.
It hasn't been nice knowing you.

It's not too late to see the greatest car chase scene in movie history on AMC. |
And the best part is, Streisand isn't in it.

I was thinking the same thing while reading this. I once had a clean house and I also cooked dinner for my husband.
A lost art!

Well Dane, you had your chance to tell your side -- to explain why you were either for the individual or for the collective. You refused to answer. I think we all know why.

For our honeymoon, I'm wearing a really cool blue turtleneck, desert boots, a badass Harris Tweed sports jacket and a .38. |

If JR said that, then cool, but I've not seen it in writing, only hearsay from others.

Well Dane, you had your chance to tell your side -- to explain why you were either for the individual or for the collective. You refused to answer. I think we all know why. And with your non-answer to reply #206, you have stated your sympathy for the George Soros, Jane Fonda, and leftist drug culture collective, IMO.
Yeah, yeah, you will mention Bill Buckley. Bill Buckley wrote a couple of articles, while socialist and Hillary friend George Soros has funded the leftist pro-drug movement to the tune of $15,000,000.

Don't worry Jlogajan, they are still out there (other sites) spitting the same bile they did here. You know what I speak of and don't need speak otherwise. Actually I didn't know of another site, but someone just sent me a freeper-mail and now I know that a lot of banned people post over at libertypost.org. I'm trying to join now but I'm not sure the sign-up thingy worked. I'm still waiting for a confirmation email.
Man TLBSHOW is sure making an arse of himself over there.
To: Dane
Dane, my pro-individualist sympathies are well known. I don't hide them. I believe in real liberty -- the liberty to be different -- even to the point of repulsion. I don't advocate that people be creeps or even self-centered, but there should be no law preventing them from doing anything they want to or for themselves so long as there is no reasonable threat to anyone else.
You seem to be pro-collectivist. Is that not the case? The "community" matters more to you than the individual. Is that not true? The individual is expendable to the collective -- is that not your position?
To: Fintan

You seem to be pro-collectivist. Is that not the case? Whew, this coming from a person who doesn't beleive a leftist pro-drug collective does not exist.
Look in the mirror before throwing around accusations.
That would do a world of good for you and Barbara Streisand, IMO.

thanks again for proving my point. You are like the drunk at a dinner party who makes a complete ass of themselves but, to the contrary, remains oblivious to their boorinshness, and instead claims it as a badge of honor and thinks everyone else sees it as wit.
oh, sorry to stir up those old memories.
