Right on! Last Saturday, Linda Chavez appearing on The Beltway Boys, mentioned that Torricelli may have bigger fish to fry with the IRS.
There is also the insurance fraud issue and filing a false police report. I kinda figured this one out after listening to a link last night someone posted that included a report on Torricelli. I think it was by a local New Jersey TV station.
Torricelli claimed the loss an Omega watch from a burglary to his house. A watch he had given to his ex-wife. She said she gave it to a housekeeper since it was not gold. It was a watch purchased for him by Chang.
This would mean he filed a false police report and also defrauded the insurer. Not a big deal some would say? Only a watch? Nope. People that do that kind of fraud don't do it on one item. I'd bet that it's very possible that there was actually no burglary or it was trumped up and that there were numerous items "stolen" that were not stolen at all. This guy was like some kind of crack addict. He had to feed his big man "I'm dating Bianca Jagger" habits.
This bum has thought he was bullet proof. He is nothing but another con man, shakedown artist, liar and thief. And anyone that supports him is not better. (insert recent picure of Daschle and The Torch here).
My parents have been out all day. When I talked to my dad, the first thing he said is that Torch is in trouble with the IRS. I haven't heard anything about it.
