There's another thread that says the plan is: Court won't allow Torch to be replaced, for the party he reconsiders and is back in, and voila! He is now respected for this and then reelected for his stance on the "issues".

More evidence of gaming the elections. For it to work, the pols must think that voters are really really stupid. I don't think they're that stupid. I think this is "inside the beltway" thinking that clouds people's minds into believing anything is possible.

Re#1561 People are stupid, though I don't think that's the plan. I think it is gamble on the courts and then blame, blame, blame the pubbies when they lose. The presstitutes will be willing to play their game, that's for sure...
