looks like the "i'm the biggest baby-killer" strategy wasn't enough for the torch
To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet
Anyone think he was shown a rolled up carpet to help him make this magnanimous decision?
To: Howlin
is he milking this or what????
To: mhking; A Citizen Reporter
Clinton wanted him to stay. Clinton's voice cracked. He admires that man so much.
OK, my soft spot just left, ACR. Hope he dies in disgrace.
OK...abortion is the main deal. AAAACK!!
To: Mo1
Now, wait a minute: according to Torch, any Democrat running in a Senate race right now who could possibly lose should withdraw? Is that right?

It seems to me that one has nothing to do with the other. McGreevey gets to appoint a replacement to serve between now and 1/03. In the meantime, the election goes forward as planned. If the RATs don't get a candidate on the ballot (other than the Torch) tough darts. This seems reasonable to me. How can they force a new election just because they chose to withdraw their candidate? It's like saying: "We're not ready yet! Let's do the election in three months!" Of course, the dims would just as soon overlook that annoying Constition.

Exactly! they can't be allowed to change candidates daily until they find one they like.
The only thing worse then Clinton, is a CLinto wannabe.
To: Peach
Oh, now we're talking about a woman's right to choose. Gun control. Why is it that Republicans never do this? We need to get down and dirty.
