Are you saying that you will not stand up for your beliefs when others publicly trample them because of your fear of physical retribution?

No, you're inferring that, and incorrectly. Tell me, where in this entire scenario were her rights being 'trampled'? That's right; they weren't. I'm saying know how to choose the right battles.

It sounds, to me, that it took a woman to have the wavos necessary to take a stand, out of all the men these twerps encounterd. Any wonder why Osama thought we would capitulate our foreign policy after the WTC?

She didn't 'make a stand'. She spouted off.

What does OBL have to do with anything in this case?

No, her rights weren't trampled on. But you chose to drag her through the dirt, as if she trampled on the twerp's rights.

She did take a stand, and as you stated, at risk to herself. I support that, although a 14 year old Goth is almost by definition a panty-waist and is only a threat to himself and small animals.

It is exactly the attitude of "choosing our battles", not standing up for ourselves, and the perception that we, as a people, don't have the stomach for a fight that led the the destruction of the WTC. Somalia most recently, but this has been escalating since we pulled out of Vietnam.
