Now, as far as military advernturism, what do you mean? Do you have any idea how many nations the United States has troops quartered in?
And how many decades it has been this way?
The founders would have vomited.

So you are an isolationist. Nothing wrong with that, and actually it has it's advantages, I've thought alot about it. But I'm not sure the founding fathers would puke to know that we have troops stationed all over the globe. I think that they would want us to protect freedom, and to help all those attain it who wish to have it. I know that's a little far fetched, but what was more important to them than anything? FREEDOM, for all men, freedom from tyranny no matter where it is!
Now, let me give you my personal opinion. I say we tell every country that they can be with us if they want. If a country (the people) tells us to buzz of (like in South Korea), then we take our 50000 troops and we leave. But if they say yes (maybe in Iraq for instance), then we go over there and make it a state. That way we're giving freedom, and actually gaining something for our effort. i.e. the land and raw materials within. Every place would be better off if they said yes.
