As a rule, whining is to be avoided (as opposed to wining, which is perfectly acceptable). Let's just say that I've run into a good number of low-esteemed, paranoid, catty people in my time. I might be stronger for the experience, but definitely no happier.

Well fortunately I'm selective enough to avoid such people, and have sufficient experience to know how to avoid them. ;)
