When I passed by at 6:40 p.m. there were five people gathered in FReep mode. I know the bicycle guy personally and know that he is not a formal FReeper, so didn't include him, although I was glad to see him there. The point I was making was not meant to insult the meager turn-out. My comments were directed at the person who found it incredulous that the press wasn't swarming all over the literal handful of demonstrators. I also noticed that 30 feet down the sidewalk there were about three times as many people demonstrating against the war on Iraq. As far as I know, the media ignored them as well.

Neal Boortz describes Barbara on his site: Barbra Streisand is a fool. An idiot. She has a nice diaphragm and an adequate set of lungs which she can use to cause pieces of gristle in her throat to vibrate in such a way that sounds will resonate through the vast voids in her head to spring from her mouth with tonal qualities that some find somewhat pleasurable. She has apparently worked hard to develop her brain cells to the point that she can memorize lyrics to simple songs. Past that, nothing. Black hold dumb. Numbing ignorance coupled with an extremely tiring personality. If her voice should fail I would like to suggest that with a small amount of facial surgery, a bit of hair dye and a fake moustache, Babs could be Saddam's fourth double.
