50,000 PEOPLE ARE DEMONSTRATING IN LONDON AGAINST WAR: Though the press accounts probably won't make a lot of it, that's less than 1/8 as many as demonstrated against a ban on fox-hunting. (And the foxhunting crowd was, um, more striking in ways other than mere numbers). I think that means the antiwar protests deserve less than 1/8 the attention.

Although it is fun to mock the pacifists, they deserve more attention as they are working against America and giving support to those who want to destroy us. In fact many of them probably are tyring to destroy us.

One BBC report has stated there were 400,000 marchers!, another 150,000. Red Ken and the Met. estimated 150,000 also. The organisers predicted about 100,000 in a report I read yesterday (in which case 50,000 decided to stay in bed according to the Yahoo figures).

Have you got a more reliable upto date source for the actual numbers?

Sky says 150,000. I will wait till the Telegraph comes out tomorrow to find out the real number.

Certainly, not nearly as big as the Countryside Alliance.
