We certainly understand, Beep. I was thinking about you this morning and wondering how you were doing. Thanks for coming and posting to us.
I will definitely add you to my prayer list. Please know that you have many people thinking of you and wishing you well. As soon as you can manage, let us hear from you......okay?
What an experience. You will soar up to 600 ft. You experience sightseeing from a new perspective!
I concurr - Mrs. lodwick and I parasailed during our honeymoon in Mazatlan - what a rush. The sails have only become better in the past 24 years. 600 feet up - yikes!
I'll take some photos on the Blue Ridge Parkway with my digital camera (as well as my panoramic ones), and if they're any good, I will do my best to post some to you guys after we get there and before they hack my skull open! (You hafta have a sense of humor about this stuff or you'll die of fright!! *G*) (The first one hurt so badly I wanted to smack my doctor!!) (*VBG*)
My surgery is October 16 at 7:30am Eastern. (I have to be there at 5:30am! To have my head shaved. Yippee.) On the day before surgery, I have a ton of tests at the hospital and all the usual pre-surgery muk. Then I meet my TT Practitioner, Aliyah. But I'm taking my lapper, and hopefully I'll be up to logging on to the thing. Last time, I didn't even care WHERE it was, or IF it was! (I am a certified -- or certifiable?! -- professional surgical patient, and I have had some painful surgeries. But the last brain surgery like to have killed me, and I wasn't prepared for it -- at all!!)
Oops! My bad. Aliyah says from now on, only positive thoughts should be allowed into my psyche. Picturing me taking a cleaver to my neurosurgeon's head -- now, THAT is a picture worth keeping!! *VBG*
Love you all!!
