If Saddam only has 1 nuke and decides to use it, I doubt that it will be the US that he'll use it on.

I agree. He would use nuclear blackmail to get the international community to adopt a hands off approach.

If he used it, he would do it by proxy. (I.E. Terrorist group.)

A necessary provocation. How convenient. Next thing you know someone will set fire to the Reichstag.

If they find 1 in 10 of every smuggled shipment of uranium that leaves about 150 Kg still out there.

I wonder if Tommy Daschle is "concerned" and "disappointed".

Of course, he will still do what he can to prevent BW from taking necessary action against the terrorists -- it's bad for Democrat Party business.

The US must now operate on the assumption that Iraq has weapons grade uranium

I think BUSH has been. This was NOT something BUSH wanted to get out. THERE MAY BE nukes in US port cities, is a distinct possibility...

I am beginning to believe there are. And they may be in the very Center of Jerusalem, or Riyadh or....

Would you like to buy a nice tinfoil hat? Looks like you didn't get yours on before the CIA/PETA/UNESCOM/Red Brigade/IMF Idiot Ray was fired at the earth from their secret base on the moon.

Deeply concerned, I'm sure. But then who cares. Dasshole has made himself deeply irrelevent. Maybe he can be President... of The League of Nations.

I wonder why this is not being reported on the major news web site? Reuters had it dated today at 10am. Waiting for confirmation? hmmmmm Seems very curious.

Turkish paramilitary police have seized more than 33 pounds of weapons-grade uranium

Two pounds in November and now this. Sure seems to be a lot of this stuff in circulation. And as with any crime, for every one caught a number get away. Pretty scary situation. Bush and Blair are right. Saddam HAS to go. Others too as necessary. ASAP. It's frightful to think of what intel the government has that they are not disclosing, either for fear of compromising sources or for alarming the populace. IMO, our greatest risk, aside from bio attack, is a nuke (dirty of fissile) smuggled into a coastal city by sea. We are in GRAVE danger.

Captured weapons-grade uranium weighing more than 33 pounds is on display at the paramilitary police headquarters of southeast province of Sanliurfa, Turkey, September 28, 2002.

Does the casing not have "Made in W. Germany" stenciled onm the lower left hand end of the cylinder?

Oh Gerhard! Paging Mr. Schroeder!
