It's true that you can't get ready to wage a war without the
news networks knowing. Even if the exact strike date is a closely guarded secret, the number of people in the government who know it's 'close' has got to be in the thousands.
There are plenty of leftover Clinton bureaucrats who pass everything that crosses their desks on to the liberal networks. We've seen it happen time and time again.
The only thing different about this 'leak' is that Rice will have been on the phone to them asking them to withhold reporting until it starts (like she did before the Afghanistan strike). Of course, the networks start to put their people in place for the coverage and the liberal ones start their shrill anti-war screaming which tips us all off that an attack is imminent without them having to say so.
