Daniel Pipes has begun an important project to hold the Academic Left that effectively controls discourse at our universities accountable. Their charges Pipes' trying to stifle and censor academic freedom of research and inquiry is laughable in view of scenes we've recently witnessed like the one that took place at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. CampusWatch is a powerful antidote to the atmosphere of totalitarian thuggery and one sided brainwashing that occurs in our institutions of higher education today and all Pipes is seeking to do is to inject some much needed balance into the uniformly leftist interpretation of Middle East studies that all too often has an anti-American and anti-Israel slant to them. Serious scholars should welcome open accountability as a stimulus to the free exchange of ideas; totalitarian ideologues on the other hand dread it for nothing else quite effectively exposes the incompatibility of their agenda with the stated mission of the university and it serves as a deterrent to the abuse of academic freedom in the service of a narrow and perverted outlook. Pipes should keep up the good work.

Sounds like a good idea. However, this site appears to deal with only Middle East issues. Is there another site that exposes all Leftist brainwashing at our universities? Perhaps there should be.
