These were FBI summaries of interviews (apparently 48)- some on diskette--and were turned over to him by federal government prosecutors over the past few months.
The first story was written on September 7 and attributed to "several legal sources, including one at the Justice Department". It doesn't seem to have gotten much attention--at least I never heard about it on any newscast.
Now, 3 weeks and no publicity later, the judge, aware of this very serious breach of security, decides to release the records to reporters?
