The majority has voted. She has committed Thought-Crime... er, hair-crime, anyway.

Her parents (like the rest of us) pay $7,000 per-child, per-year to the Gubmint Schools; but in the Gubmint Schools, your money is not your own.

Alternatively, if her parents are not of the opinion that dread-locks are inherently Eeeeeevil, a "crime against God" (according to so many Freepers, apparently), we could just give her Parents back their $7,000 bucks and let them pick their own School.

But if we did that for everyone, we'd have to abolish the Government Schools.

Separation of School and State.

What a travesty that would be.

I have no problem with the "lurking."

But some of these comments puzzle me. "Matted dog hair?" What the heck is that all about?

As for me, I proudly display my rows. When I take them down, my hair measures 13" in length. Not bad for one year, eh?

Just think of me as your "not-so-conservative-looking" conservative. ;-)
