"The Bucket Brigade, a symbolic mass action of defiance of federal policy was to protest actions taken by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service. The transfer of water to an almost dry canal was led by Jess Prosser, an 85-year-old World War II veteran who homesteaded on the Klamath Project with his son and grandson. They drew the first of 50 buckets of water from the Veterans Park boat ramp at Lake Ewauna in Klamath Falls." *

Thanks, Jeff. The federal government thought sucker fish were more important the people.

Well, elements among them certainly used that (the sucker fish) as a prop. But everyone there in Klamath knew it was a lie ... as does everyone in the west that knows anything about those bottom feeding trash fish ... and in the east they know the same thing about carpe.

It was a land grab and control issue all along ... and it lines right up with the Agenda 21 intiatives of the UN and the many enviro NGO's that are supporting it.
