Christ on a crutch, that's some serious nose action.
The show should be called "Three Tenors and Two Honkers"
Notice the list of "stars".
I bet some of them vote GOP and just agree to do this to make sure they keep getting work.
It's like the blacklist in reverse, only socialists are welcome.
We need a new McCarthy to put these unAmerican fellow travelers on notice.
Patriotism is in, and hippies suck.
BWAHAHAHA.

Streisand To Give Rare Performance To Help Dems Take Back The House
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced today that Barbra Streisand has agreed to perform at a National Democratic Gala concert on September 29, 2002 to raise funds for Democratic efforts to take back the House this fall. In addition to Streisand, this unprecedented event will feature Barry Manilow, the Three Mo Tenors, David Foster and Steve Harvey.
"Voters across the country want a change after eight years of failed Republican leadership in Washington. We are honored to have some of the worlds best entertainers to lead the fight," said DCCC Chair Nita Lowey. "This is such an important election and Ms. Streisands decision to help us change the leadership in the House will help provide us with a much needed boost as we head into the home stretch."
The concert will be held at 7:30 PM on September 29th at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. Award-winning David Foster is producing the show. Tickets are $500 per individual and the DCCC anticipates raising an unprecedented sum that will benefit Democratic congressional candidates across the country.
House Democratic Leader Richard A. Gephardt, House Democratic Whip Nancy Pelosi, DCCC Chair Nita M. Lowey, and DCCC Chairman of the Board Charles Rangel are leading the Democratic Congressional Caucus in raising funds for the event.
Other artists who are supporting the event include: Jack Nicholson, Martin Sheen, Ben Affleck, Maya Angelou, Marilyn and Alan Bergman, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Michael Douglas, James Gandolfini, Wesley Snipes, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Goldie Hawn, Sally Field, Whoopi Goldberg, Christopher Reeve, Anjelica Huston, John Travolta, Kevin Spacey, and Annette Bening.

STREISAND MEMO TO GEPHARDT: 'TAKE THE OFFENSE!'
Barbra Streisand has reminded Democratic Leader Richard Gephardt in a blistering memo: "Sadam Hussein did not bomb the World Trade Center."
The Streisand memo, released by adviser Margery Tabankin, warns Democrats to "get off the defensive and go on the offensive."
The singeractressdirectorproducer took time out from rehearsals for a performance she's giving on Sunday for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to remind Gephardt [spelled "Gebhardt" in a faxed memo obtained by DRUDGE] not to "ignore the obvious influence on the Bush Administration of such special interests as the oil industry, the chemical companies, the logging industry... just to name a few."
Streisand notes: "Many of these industries, run by big Republican donors and insiders, clearly have much to gain if we go to war against Iraq."
Streisand urges the Democrats to "publicly convey this message to the American people."
While there are serious problems with Iraq, Barbra feels that we can't let this issue become a distraction from the country's domestic problems and the President's inability to fully dismantle the al Qaeda [spelled "Al Queda" in the fax] network.
Afterall, Saddam [spelled Sadam in the fax] "Hussein did not bomb the World Trade Center."
Feel free to call Barbra or me at 310-395-3599 if you would like to discuss this further, Tabankin offers to Gephardt.
Capitol Hill's top reporter, Ed Henry at ROLL CALL, later confirmed Streisand penned the "confidential memo" urging Gephardt to take the offense against Bush.
Tabankin tells Henry she sent the memo after she had a phone conversation with Streisand. "We had just watched Tom Daschle's speech," said Tabankin. "We were both very emotional."

HOLLYWOOD HOOKERS
SAY
E-GRAY DAVIS
IS
UNFAIR
COMPETITION!!!
I've been boycotting Julia Roberts, the Baldwins, Ben Affleck, Streisand, Ted Danson and his silly wife, the Sheens and Rob Reiner for as long as they've been making thier idiotic political views public. But a few of the names on the list are a surprise--James Gandolfini, for example. I've only been hanging on to HBO because of The Sopranos, but I will cancel it tomorrow, along with my other movie package, Starz. And the people at DirecTV will know why. With the money I save each month, I will buy more books like Slander and Breakdown.
