Barbra Streisand is emerging from self-imposed retirement as an entertainer to help out her old pals in the Democratic Party. Two years after bidding farewell to her career as a public performer Streisand will sing nine songs at a benefit for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, organizers said September 24, 2002. I've seen that list. Notice, out of fifty-something on the artist committee, only five are black, and only one is Asian. I think we need to contact Brutha Jesse.
To: RonDog
Thanks for that list. I have printed it up and decided not to watch any movie with any of these actors in it again. Too bad I watched "One hour Photo" last week. Just think people, the money you pay to watch there crap goes right into there hands and the DNCs.

LOL! And you KNOW what they say about "a fool and his money..."
From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (People in the News)
Gephardt's got connections House Minority Leader Richard A. Gephardt has talked Barbra Streisand into singing for her supper ... and the Democratic Party's Congressional Campaign Committee.
Streisand, 60, is a lifelong Democrat and activist, though she has maintained a low political profile since pal Bill Clinton left office. Streisand, according to the Philly Inquirer, will sing three songs at a $500-a-ticket gala Sept. 29 at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. The Dems hope their little party can raise $4 million for their party.

While this fundraiser is intended to support the RATs in Washington, D.C., we plan to use our FReep of their event to blast OUR OWN local RAT, California's soon-to-be-EX-governor, Gray Davis:
"Dump
DAVIS!"
A "DumpDAVIS" FReep is currently scheduled for:Sunday (9/29) - 6 pm to 8 pm - Kodak Theatre in Hollywood - confirmed
(note NEW times)
Barbra Streisand and Barry Manilow will be raising $4 million for the DNC
theme: "Keep the Hookers in Hollywood, NOT Sacramento"
(Hooker/pimp costumes encouraged, but not required!)
