Ummm, excuse me, .50 rifles have been available since before the founding of America. That's right .50 cal BLACK POWDER rifles - aka. Kentucky Long Rifle. Heck, in some states it is the MINIMUM you can use to hunt elk.

Now before you get all upset, I know the difference. My point being is that I doubt the motion that was passed made any provisions between the two.

Oh, by the way, you can get .50 pistols as well. Wonder if the city considered that little factoid in their law.
