Personally no, then again I've not been to Africa. As to the 600 lbs, I was using the information provided in the orginal article. As to what size lions get to, I'd have to go back to a couple of books by Peter Capstick and see what size he was shooting.

If one shoots something weighing in at 600 lbs in my neck of the woods, you've either shot some poor farmers cow or a very large person, in either case neither are much of a threat!
