"They are fighting, battling and burning as we freep."D@mn.
Prayers for the families of those 44 innocent people, and for the recovery of the wounded. And for justice against the murderists.

Yes, straight from the National Guard Armory. The modern weapons are with the troops in the West along the border.

When I saw it I thought it must be more Hindu vs. Sikh violence,
like at Amritsar about twelve or fifteen years ago. The Sikhs live in Punjab.
Amritsar is in the Punjab.
Gandhinagar is in Gujurat.

Remember THIS?:
"In 1997 came the chilling Luxor, Egypt massacre, the bloody climax of a campaign to kill foreign visitors and destroy Egypt's tourist industry. A band of Islamist terrorists seized control of the Temple of Hatshepsut in Upper Egypt's Valley of the Queens, and then methodically hunted down 58 mainly European tourists, including women and children."
I still remember those chilling photos, I remember the unfortunate Japanese honeymooners who were in the tourist groups who were also on the ground hugging each other with their brains splattered.
By militant Islamist Terrorists. The scourge of the civilized world.

That is my belief. Notice it started after we routed the Taliben out of power and the nuts fled into Pakistan?
However I believe they would have no intention of taking control of Pakistan so much as a coup but to apply internal pressure against external Indian pressure to force the Pakistani government to collapse altogether and transform it into a new Afghanistan.

Tmedieval hierarchy did allow for upwards mobility, in a way that the caste system doesn't necessarily. One of the 6 great French mathematicians of the time around the revolution, Monge or someone, for example, was left as a newborn in a church, and yet lived to demonstrate his gifts. Until the 60s, or so, when public education became widespread, I'd even wager that the Catholic priesthood allowed people, by dedicating their life to God, to achieve overcome the traditional hierarchy. I'll never forget when my Russian teacher, a priest fluent in more than ten languages express his gratitude that he'd had a vocation which allowed him to develop his talents.
There's a lot of good to be said for hierarchies, but for healthy hierarchies. There is nothing worse than a dysfunctional rigid hierarchy. Holiness only comes through sacrifice.

>>the nuts fled into Pakistan?
They were always in and are still in Pakistan.
This attack was masterminded by Musharraf. Next to Saudi, Pakistan bears more responsibility for the September 2001 Attacks on America than even Afghanistan. If any state has supported and encouraged jihadism, it is Pakistan and that jihadi in a uniform, mush.
If they've fled there, why aren't we going in to lay waste to Pakistan?
>>transform it into a new Afghanistan.
Sounds like a prime candidate for the doctrine of pre-emption.

Think of a society under seige from muslims of all stripes since the 8th or 9th century and consider the caste system as a defense mechanism to keep hindu society and culture extant under great pressure from islamists for over a millenium. Cast system sucked but it preserved a coherence to society; a coherence that the nonislamics of Persia, Afghanistan and the entire muddle east lost and succumbed to the tide of islam.

nah... you're just over paranoid. There has been no sabotage by US citizens against each other.

President Bush was NOT in any mosque "mere hours" after the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon.
He did speak at a mosque on September 24, in an attempt to prevent vigilante violence against innocent people. Unlike the rabid "nuke them all" crowd, some of us are aware that there ARE innocent, peaceful Muslims out there. Few, true, but there is no reason to murder THEM.

the post might have been meaning to say 'mere days'-- which it was

Yes, my understanding from posts here and resource links to outside webs was that Pak military officers who have nuclear weapons were partly responsible for the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.
Kinda sucks to know that Al Queda may already have two allies with the nuke...Iraq and Pak extremists.

I just hope they invoke "Rule 303".'splain, please?

Ok, then lets just say that the two American Jihadists were not really jihadists, or that they were two poor misguided souls. Also, lets just say that the idiot med-students on their way to miami from georgia took a short-cut through alligator alley for the hell of it.

"...He did speak at a mosque on September 24, in an attempt to prevent vigilante violence against innocent people. ...What a very charming idea you have of the United States. In order to prevent his support base from breaking out in mass lynchings against moslems--and whomever else should be unlucky enough to fall in their path--The President proclaims the peace of islam to the Nation.
Poor Mr. Bush. Imagine having to preside over such an embarassing lot of greasy-haired, savage, red-necks. It's like a scene out of "To Kill a Mockingbird".
Strangely, my people have been living here, in the Homeland, for quite a while and they haven't lynched anybody yet. Not even some who richly deserved it....

"Oh, come on Belle. You should realize by now that actually telling the truth might offend some one"Unfortunately, Belle is not actually TELLING the truth...just folding, spindling and mutilating it in an attempt to further a political agenda rather than concern for the situation, sympathy for the dead or outrage at the terrorist pigs who are the guilty party.
Instead, Belle's first post was a political slam against a foreign (to India) president who had nothing to do with this mass murder....as have most of Belle's subsequent posts, with occasional tangents into asthetics and the caste system.

If we really wanted to be liberated we would re-embrace medieval notions of heirarchy. The colonist came to escape the oppression of a king, and fighting this type of communism, a dictorial king, has kept America free.
Shouldn't you be playing at dirtyunderwear.com with your own socialist believing members ?
Most of the nonsense about "equality" stems from vulgar protestant distortions of christian belief.
Christian believe is equality through equal labor, not freebies to the lazy. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day and comes back for freebies for the rest of his life (Democrat dependancy and poverty breading logic). Teach a man to fish, he becomes self accountable and no man becomes a slave to another. That's what Christianity is. Give them a helping hand, then walk away. You've done what the Lord requires of you.
Liberalism, on the otherhand is not a lifestyle choice, it's a deathstyle choice. There's no where to go but further down into the deepest parts of hell. The addiction to self pleasure and self centerdness has no escape. The whole world evolves around the concept of "please me." No other life matters. If that demand for self pleasure is not delivered, they cry out for death.
