The interracial crime statistics are interesting too. Despite the hype about James Byrd and his murder by those Jasper, TX monsters, white on black crime is much less of a problem (4%) than black on white crime (20%).

I think these statistics show that the alleged "race" problem in America is really a "fear of crime" problem.

and if crime is related to poverty, what about all the poor non blacks who are not represented? I think the core of the problem of the blacks represented here stems from being indoctrinated into believing they have no power, that the deck is stacked against them, and they can't get anywhere without a handout. If you are going to move forward, you have to accept responsibility for getting yourself to move.
