I've had several surgeries and one was in an area that was hard to heal. My surgeon reccomended zinc, said he takes it to heal quicker, and he was right.
He was a good doctor Nan.;)

There ARE some very good doctors....but in a lot of instances their talents are stifled because of HMOs and commercial and gov't (Medicare/Medicaid/Tricare) insurance.

I'm glad you had a good doctor, Aqua, and I know there are some good ones out there. I guess the one I go to when I have to is pretty good. I don't know as I never have anything serious. It's the system, as dansangel said, that needs fixing.
