The major problem with you and the other narrow minded constipated libertarians around here is you will NEVER GET IT. The very purpose of the Constitution is to restrain government from the the whim of a passing majority and demogogues who prey on the fears of a stirred up electorate. Seeing as how most Americans now look upon government as parent, your view of government as protector is little different from the socialist twaddle of the left. I'll know the guv is serious about my security when I can take my Class III hardware with me when I travel inter-state in my own vehicle without getting a "mother may I form" filled out months in advance.
