The Bush Administration's Kyoto Protocol:

Economic growth should be accompanied by global efforts to stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations associated with this growth, containing them at a level that prevents dangerous human interference with the global climate. Our overall objective is to reduce America's greenhouse gas emissions relative to the size of our economy, cutting such emissions per unit of economic activity by 18 percent over the next 10 years, by the year 2012. Our strategies for attaining this goal will be to:

remain committed to the basic U.N. Framework Convention for international cooperation;

obtain agreements with key industries to cut emissions of some of the most potent greenhouse gases and give transferable credits to companies that can show real cuts;

develop improved standards for measuring and registering emission reductions.

Well no he shot himself but that is not important. So let's settle on Jonestown as your description of Republicans. Where does that leave you? What is a good description, in your words, of yourself?

I don't look to the government for nothing, I'm just tired of clusterYucks like you giving conservatives a bad name. And BTW... I don't need to go across state lines to use my Class III hardware to protect myself. When the time comes when militia's are called upon, The Constitution will be in far more jeopardy than any of the baseless fears you have wet your panties over on this thread.

In choosing to define just about every problem the world faces as a potential national security threat, it is unwittingly inviting back the era of big, bigger, biggest government.

Radical Islam and rogue dictatorships with WMD are legitimate national security threats, and the President has (justifiably) chosen to concentrate his efforts on these threats. This is hardly "just about every problem the world faces." The author of this piece, in attempting to bolster his weak argument, has shamelessly engaged in gross hyperbole.

Yeah, and now they're supporting it.

Nothing more than smoke and mirrors to keep "conservatives" asleep?

One helluva great putter and not a bad short game.

Cute. No, that's not what I was referring to. It's funny though, my handlers don't have any problem getting me in to work on VERY big flash bangs with a 2-day notice, but when I want to play in a buzz gun match out of state with the local swatties, I have to wait weeks to months for some treasury weenie to rubber stamp a form. Not only are some animals more equal than others, but it changes with the context.
