LOL That might be the one. Now I'm going to have to dig out my old photo and check! Thanks for posting this wonderful balloon pic. When I was taking art classes a long time ago, one instructor had a friend who made hot air balloons. Our class project was to design one. Mine was a big blue ocean with colorful fish swimming around. Incongruous :) I'd still love to see it in the sky someday, although I don't know if anything could top the US FLag! :)

You are right about not being able to top the US Flag Balloon though, we can't think of anything to top it either.

I still have my '86, but the engine's blown. That car was a blast.

I miss it, even though I did have to fold myself up to fit in it (I am 6'3").

I sure wish I could have made it.

I saw something about that. I'm glad we traveled Sunday also, otherwise the boys would have been helping the police chase that dude.

I can just see them there with their white hats and six-shooters - stand back ladies and let us men handle this one in their best Texas accents. Yep, glad that we traveled Sunday!

The car technically belongs to me but we painted it for my son. Now, he is back at school and we commandeered it.

I will have other photos of it up later. Kayak sent me a bunch of great shots.

I know this is a word that is over-used but it really fits here ....... that car is AWESOME! The truck and trailer are cool, too, but it's the car that gets all the attention.

Even though it rained Saturday evening and they couldn't even unpack the balloon, the car still got a LOT of attention ..... many people took pictures of it, some even asking permission before doing so. And all that stopped by to look at it had BIG smiles on their faces ....... :-)

The pols I think are scared of it and they believe the media spin that the flag has been overdone.

I can tell you this: The media is only saying that because they don't want people to be patriotic. The people in this country love it!

I can't tell, but yours looks like an '87 or '88.

Mrs. CD has been getting on my case to sell mine, and I know I need to.
