Even my 15 year old son boycotts the music, and programs they are associated with.
I don't even have to tell him, he knows. He won't watch anything from ABC.

I salute your son's attitude...wish I'd caught on when I was that age.

BUT, I would suggest a bit of a selective approach to ABC, at least the news division.
The specials that John Stossel has on occassionally, as well as his "give me a break"
segments on "20/20" on Friday evening are pretty much on target with a
rational conservative theme (although I think Stossel claims libertarian status).

Also John Miller, the new anchor on "20/20" with (yuk) Barbara Walters has done
really good investigative reportage on Osama/Al-Quida, as well as co-authoring a book
called "The Cell" on the topic.
I think he was one of the few American journalists to even go all the way to interview
Osama...well before 9-11 and before Osama was on the radar screen of the average American.

There are also good investigative reports on PrimeTime on Thursday night...the show a few weeks
ago that had the interview with Sadaam's former mistress and with youth
in Iran was really good.

Oh...and I do have to give Barbara Walters credit. Her visit to Saudi Arabia to
interview some of the families of the hi-jackers was interesting.
Especially one in which an aged father keeps up a brave front and insists that his
son couldn't have possibly been a hi-jacker, let alone involved with terrorists...
then an elder son tell Barbara (after the father is off-set) that his father
privately knows it's true and cries over the situation constantly.
Despite my general misgivings about Muslims, I did feel for this fellow...it was pretty
good reporting as it was getting at the story behind the story.
OK, there's the probably the last time I'll say something good about
Barbara Walters!
