I don't care if it only affects 1 person in the whole country. Estate taxes are wrong, they already taxed the income once, they shouldn't get another slice just because that person died. You beat me to it -- that's almost exactly the post I was about to make.

It is called "double taxation". It is un-constitutional. You are absolutely right.
Perhaps some in our Government think that because we are triple and quadruple taxed, that would make it legal. After all, it wouldn't be "double" taxation anymore, right?
Our wages are not to be overtaxed. Yet they are. That is a huge problem. It created the monsters we see, like lobbyist, pork barrell spending, etc.
I see moves to stop some of it, and I'm encouraged.
Thanks for a common sense response to this thread. But I'm heartened to see many who "do" get it. :o)
