Thats called poor tax planning.
Poor tax planning? We have our house in a revokable trust, and there are other ways of handling it. But why on earth should we have to pay a lawyer to draw up complicated legal instruments and wills, and risk having the ground cut out from under them at any minute and have to do it all over again, just so some populist politician can pretend that he feels for the poor?
You can bet that these politicians have good lawyers and pay few taxes. How much tax did clinton and gore pay? Who wants to bet that they will pay any estate tax when they go to their just rewards?
