Hurricane season is over. None of these hurricanes will make it to U.S. mainland - at least as hurricanes. Maybe some windswept rain at best.

Hurricane season ends in November!

SamAdams76,
What, no sarcasm tag? Hurricane season peaks late August through late September. We are still in nearly the worst part of Hurrican season. Hurricanes that hit the US mainland according to month (1900 -2000):
42 in August
65 in September
25 in October

How did you reach that conclusion? Some of the biggest storms have been in Oct. As long as the water is warm Hurricanes are possible.

Over?? It's really just begun. My guess is you've never lived on the Gulf Coast, right?

Hurricane season is June 1 - November 1.
