A most interesting read worth bookmarking by FReeper Dennis Marlock, especially the part on Gypsy Criminal Groups, shows the Travellers are trained to be grossly contrite when caught, but to continue the misbehavior.

I remember the 60 Minutes type program that said in the very rare cases where the Traveller scam artists are confronted with ripping off someone, they immediately give back the money with profuse apologies and thus the charges are usually dropped. TooGoodToBeTrue comes across this way.
