"Yes, Lager was a great help. He filed all the paper work for the permit etc."
Bravo on that...thanks Lauger!!! Without a legislative sponsor it's tough to get all the help one needs for a Capitol Rally. It's the nuts and bolts I worry about now.
We've had a professional sound systems at past events... donated by a great church member up in Grass Valley. Don't think she ever joined Free Republic though. Having patriotic music blaring from a good sound system really energizes the crowd and helps make an event. I have some great patriotic Blue Grass CD's, seems fitting for a Sawgrass Rebellion ;) It's also nice to have a wireless mic that's open to the rally participants... this is, after all, their event.
I just hope JimRob will help spread the word since this great bunch of patriots have a long haul across the US. I have 300 media advances going out tonight and planned to link your press release on Free Republic to those emails. It would be terrific if there were Freepers greeting them and making them feel welcome as they go. I bet we can count on the Houston Freepers to do just that and help spread the word in the Great State of Texas!! See our
website for more details.

Part of having a legislative sponsor is getting the use of sound equipment and electricity. I was hoping to have a live band there but that may not happen.

Ya'll are doing some wonderful things out there. We in the afflicted areas can't thank you enough.
Will you guys be coming all the way to Florida? If so I'm dying to meet you. If not God bless you for working so hard for nothing in return but knowing you did the right thing.
You're both doing God's work.

I went to the website and couldn't find the information I was looking for.
Is someone coordinating the convoy rallys? How can I get information on the October 9th stop in Columbia, SC.

At
sawgrassrebellion.com - click "Caravan Route," it shows the convoy stopping in San Francisco. Do you know if this is correct, or, by saying, "San Francisco" they mean "Tracy?"
Do you know if they will be passing through San Francisco? Date and time and place? Maybe some FReepers can greet them. Also, maybe they can get some time on KSFO Radio with Lee and Melanie, Brian Wilson, or Barbara Simpson.
