I think it's evil. As a matter of policy, I believe the proper course should be to return the question of abortion to the individual states. Here in PA, you could bet I'd be fighting a battle to make all abortion illegal, including late-term abortions.
That said, I bet you'd find many on this site who would make allowances for abortion on the case of rape, incest or the mother's health. Are they evil? What about the "Morning After" pill?
That's the nuance to which I referred earlier. I think many issues have gray areas - where good, honest people can hold disagreement.
