There is not a politician who ever lived that could deliver them what they want. The candidates they prefer promise to deliver everything they want...knowing full well that they will never be put to the test of actually delivering.

Seems to me that having someone promise me 50% of what I want and giving me 25% is a hell of a lot better than someone promising me 90% and deliverying 0%.

Those people see a glass with some liquid in it and will assert that the glass is empty. The unapeaseables can never be satisfied. They'd starve to death, with a loaf of bread under each arm, because the bread was wheat, or rye, and they only want white.
