The very least Bush and Ashcroft could do is haul out the paperwork on Livingstone to see who in hell hired him. Not a thing, Livingstone is a non person. The book on Livingstone is simple: it doesn't matter who in particular hired him.

x42 knew--read in the papers if nothing else--that Livinstone had pulled 900 FBI files illegitimately. x42 did not even fire him immediately, and when Livinstone finally was fired "nobody" fired him. If x42 blamed nobody, then the responsibility for Livinstone's actions lies with x42.

There is no explanation I can accept for impeaching x42 for Monica and not even mentioning the 900 counts of what sent Chuck Colson to the slammer for a year. Because nobody else was at fault for it, and it happened on x42's watch.

Splitting hairs about what minion of x42 actually did the hiring is a fool's game. If the truth were known it almost certainly was Hillary--but it certainly appears that we never will know.
