So I wrote this bit of satire to show how haridans and mandarins might make use of a mob rage with some geniune founding and turn it to their own purposes. Do you really think that anybody, except the most radical, would at any time consider putting cameras in private homes?
Satire is not reality. Satire often describes absurd situations which would never exist in reality. However by use of fantastic absurdity a good satire provides insight into the truth of real intentions or motives.
The "fat police" were only a few years back such an absurdist satire.
